A pitfall is a place where ships sailing on the river of life are wrecked. They are dangerous sections of the sea straits or obstacles in rocky terrain that need to be overcome. A pitfall is a metaphor representing lurking hitches, difficulties in relationships, in the psyche, at work. They are karmic challenges that we do not want to succumb to, but rather learn from them so that we can handle them more easily next time. The second option is not to overcome obstacles, but to avoid them. Although we avoid problems, we also avoid the evolutionary knowledge that we would achieve by overcoming obstacles.
There are many ways and methods of avoidance, and the theory of the “present moment” is one of them. It teaches us about the state that we induce ourselves by anchoring our consciousness in the present through willpower. The goal is to achieve an end to psychological suffering, because the past and future supposedly exist only as thoughts, while the present is the only reality in which life actually happens. By focusing our attention on the present through awareness of our breath, the state of our inner body, or by immersing ourselves in the veil of surrounding sounds, we can dissolve the grip of the ego, stop identifying with constant thinking, and achieve deep peace, joy, and presence. This should transform our daily actions, even the most elementary ones, into acts of love and meaning. According to this theory, the present is all that exists. Both the past and the future are supposedly mental constructs, and the present is the only place where life, freedom, and true being exist.
I consider the theory of the usefulness of the present moment to be a manipulative construct aimed at avoiding opportunities to recognize our Shadow. Opportunities come to us in life not so that we avoid them, but so that we recognize and become aware of them. We overcome them by reacting to them differently than we would act under the influence of our Shadow. The Shadow is the sum of our Selves from the recent past, but especially from other lives. The Shadow consists of unresolved karmic records that were created by our ancient motivations, decisions and erroneous actions. The karmic records of the Shadow influence the course of our life situations and try to deform them in the future. The Shadow tries to penetrate the psyche of a person, wants to control him, wants to live and manifest in his body. When karma is unprocessed, it blocks our higher consciousness and also brings psychological suffering.
The reality of our lives in the three-dimensional dense matter of the Earth takes place in the present, but as soon as we become aware of the present and find out what is actually happening in it, it has already become the past, although it happened only a fraction of a second ago. If we force ourselves to exist only in the present, we can actually enter a hypnotic meditative state, when the power of thoughts weakens. It is similar to pharmacological anesthesia of consciousness. The mind is numbed, and a person in constant presence is devoid of thoughts and is unable to function normally. His goal is to get rid of the ego, but the same ego has convinced him that he should get rid of it. An exaggerated ego is like Pennywise the clown, who, when you cut off his head, immediately grows a new one, similar to the original one. A metaphor for getting rid of the ego is an ostrich, which in case of danger sticks its head in the sand; it pretends to do this so that it does not see its ego. The question remains whether it is at all necessary to get rid of the ego. The ego is a normal phenomenon of a person’s identity in 3D material reality. It is problematic when it grows excessively. Then various entities and demons become attached to the ego, who want to manifest and act outwardly through the inflated ego, as if it were their virtual life. They cause excessive suffering to a person, but they can also be a sign that a person had something in common with it, perhaps they connected with it sometime in the distant past, or were in a relationship with such beings who cast curses of various kinds on them.
We can also imagine the present moment as the center of a line segment. The left side of the line represents the past, and its length represents the time the soul has lived since its birth. The center is the present, and the right side represents the future. The future is a reflection of the past; the best predictor of a person’s future behavior is their past behavior. However, this is only a simplified comparison, because the center of the line may not be its exact geometric center, and the line may not be a straight line, but it will certainly be some spatial curve.
However, for this purpose, let’s stick to the straight line segment. Time in higher dimensions flows differently than in 3D matter. When God, the Creator, or a high-level evaluating Angel near the Oneness ascertains the state of the soul, he grabs the line from the left side of the past and the right side of the assumed future and squeezes it into a very short line, almost the size of a dot. All the past and future identities of the human soul (ego) are lined up and squeezed together. At the end of the Cycle, the Soul will be evaluated in such time-accumulating wholeness.
It is not true that the future does not exist. It exists, we just do not know it, although it is possible to predict it to some extent, but not from our human position, but from places of higher dimensions. The future of an individual is an extension of his past. It is a prognosis of the future, it is a future assumed in relation to his past; the past Shadow beings of a person, as well as his assumed future Self. All these images and reflections of one being exist together at one point, at one moment of the Presence, invisible on our three-dimensional plane, but accessible on a high dimension of consciousness. The past and the future, summed up together, form the present being/soul of a person. It follows that even the ancient erroneous deeds and attitudes of the soul that are not balanced, are there. They are the Shadows of a person, they are part of the Self of the soul, regardless of whether the person knows about them or has denied the knowledge of his karmic deeds. He buried his head in the sand, for example, by immersing himself in the present moment and rejecting the tyranny of thoughts and emotional feelings. Or he rejected his Shadows in some other way. The mindless barrage of negative thoughts and tyrannical emotions, depressive feelings, defective psychological states and many other feelings is a manifestation of karma. A person’s past and recent deeds and attitudes manifest themselves in this way. Yes, the ego is in a sense their carrier, but that is not the main thing now. Getting rid of the ego by immersing yourself in present moment self-hypnosis is like killing a messenger who brings you an important message. Yes, the connected entities that are in such a reporting process are often demons, dark angels, mental satanists, astral reptiles and other psychic monsters. Therefore, with respect to these entities, the manner, form and content of the manifestation of karma is questionable. Parasitic entities feed on the process of karma manifestation and either cause a person as much suffering as possible, or protect their protégé because he has submitted to them and is acting on their instructions. It is about knowledge. It is about knowing that a person should know their past, although it may be a long past. If a person wants to move forward as a soul, if they want to get to the future at all, to the New Cycle, they should diligently seek knowledge, circumstances, their motivations, attitudes and decisions that brought them to the point of the present moment. Self-hypnosis will not get you anywhere because it drowns out thoughts and emotions.
Not only bad deeds, but also good deeds affect the essence of the soul. The classification of deeds into bad and good is controversial, because as is widely known, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. An act can be good when it is born from knowledge of the Universe, about how the world of ON works, what are its principles, examples and parables. It is about knowledge and this comes when a person has burned himself enough and then learned his lesson. Knowledge evens out the curvatures of the left side of the line and thereby improves the prospects for the future and straightens them. Otherwise, the future would also be curved. In a sense, it reverses the past and removes from it errors, blockages and dark distorting energies. The past remains recorded, but rather as a memory associated with a lesson. Thorough knowledge leads to the evolution of the soul and its elevation to a higher level. Burning without knowledge has little value, because then it is a vain surrender to suffering. However, certain suffering is related to the cognitive process, without it it the knowledge cannot be gained.
The timeline and history of the soul are summarized into one point – from the point of view of the Oneness of time. Everything is there. Time is also dual. The duality of time consists of the past and the future. The present moment in three-dimensional reality essentially does not exist, because by the time the action of the present takes place, it has already become the past. In the high dimension close to the Oneness, time stops and everything is one there, including the past and the present. Karma from the distant past, which is uncertain, forms a part of the soul in the Oneness, as if dark deeds were happening in the present moment.
On the mental level, the thought regarding the past is the same as if it were about the present or the future. The distinctions are blurred there, when you are about to perform a bad deed, you are just planning to do it, so mental entities take it as a present event. They also perceive the memory of a past event as if it were a present event, as a repeatedly repeated act, that overlaps many times in the present. You will explain to them in vain, that it is already a distant past.
That is why many beings from the higher realms in general label humanity as Satan’s supporters. When represented mainly by the Mental Entities, from above they see man differently, than we do from below. I know many people who do not outwardly manifest obvious satanic deeds in their lives. And yet they are included among Satan’s supporters, because they have latent, dormant tendencies; they are genetic predispositions to commit evil deeds. Unresolved karma from the past foreshadows their inclination towards the Serpent, and he will manifest himself when he wants to, or when suitable external or internal circumstances arise. Then, as if by magic, a person turns into a completely different personality, either permanently or for a while, is possessed by a diabolical demon and commits some terrible act, murders someone, betrays. At the very least, he unexpectedly turns his character to the opposite side, changes his attitude, betrays his former friends. Surprise murders caused by karmic possession of a previously tame “who would have thought” person happen quite often.
The only solution is to recognize one’s karma, one’s unprocessed deeds. It doesn’t matter whether a person admits it or not. People often have too good an opinion of themselves, although they don’t really know themselves. They pragmatically don’t know their Shadow. The Serpent settled in their consciousness hides this from them and tries to make it impossible for them to break through. The task of a person is to overcome the manipulations of the Serpent, it is a struggle of a person with his Shadow Self and the attached entities.
From the example of popular teaching about the present moment, one can see what deceptions and manipulative teachings are spreading in our earthly reality, how many false spiritual teachers there are. Most of them are servants of the Serpent. They pretend to be light, but their intention is immersion in darkness. Their instructions darken consciousness and lead evolution towards degradation.
