The roots of our destiny lie in our past. Memory concerns not only the past but also the present, because the present becomes the past immediately after it is realized. Memory, therefore, concerns not only memories of the past, but also anything that happened a moment ago, even a second ago. A person does not remember the distant past from previous existences. Memories of this kind are covered by the deposits of spilled sands of the hourglass of the master watchmaker, who set the mechanism so that when the clock was turned over, some of the sand would spill out and cover the written memoirs that are placed on the table immediately below the clock.

Memory only remembers what it wants

If you don’t remember your past life and want to know it, you probably have no choice but to either rely on the opinions of those who do remember it and are willing to remind you of it, or rely on your own distorted, mistaken memories. If you don’t want to know it, there’s no help for you.

Memory is an aspect of the ON, and he chooses what memories he will bring back to our conscious or unconscious mind. We cannot always rely on our own memories. It happens that we are firmly convinced of the truth of what we remember, and then we receive overwhelming evidence from others that we were wrong. This rule also applies to the others – they also do not have a 100% perfect memory. The exception is extraordinary situations that are etched in our memory because, for example, they will significantly influence the course of our next life. Much also depends on who/what is the majority leading driving force in our consciousness. If it is the opposite of the ON, then it is the synonymous with forgetting and bad memory. The ON remembers, and memory serves him well. History repeats itself, not only in social development but also in the individual. People are still subject to their unprocessed Shadow, and so they repeat their unprocessed, faulty karmic deeds from their past over and over again. One of the reason is their wrongful or uncomplete memory.

We usually do not know as much as we think. About some things, we think we know a lot, and yet we know almost nothing. About other things, we think we know little, and yet we know enough to realize what is necessary at a given moment; if we give it space. Often, we do not want to admit to the world that this could be the case about one or the other. This applies especially to our past. Many do not think about their past, even their (distant) past from past lives. Memory of our past is very important because, whether we want it or not, our distant past has left its Shadows on us. The Shadow is constantly catching up with us; it is like the shadow of a marathon runner, constantly hanging by the heels of its master. Our consciousness stands in the Shadow, the sun does not shine on it, and memory remains shrouded in unconsciousness.

Our current choices are the consequences of our unconscious memories of past thoughts, feelings, motivations, attitudes, and decisions from the past, which have been transformed into our words and actions at that time. If we do not know our past, then even theoretically, we cannot process our Shadow, reduce it, correct our Self, and come to terms with it. The unreduced Shadow tends to repeat itself, and based on our past, we create our destiny and therefore our future.

Human memory is like an iceberg – 90% of an iceberg is hidden under water, with only a small part remaining above the surface. Even from the small visible part of the iceberg above the water surface, we actually only see what is on its surface, and this is snow. The ice itself is hidden underneath, and thanks to the layer of snow, it seems to us that it is white, but its real color is completely different. Ice is not white. If it was formed by freezing clean water, it is transparent. However, if it was formed by freezing turbid water from stagnant waters or dead river branches, its color will be various shades of gray with an admixture of green, for example. In such water, there were algae or tadpoles, indicating the presence of toads that lay their eggs in it. Like an iceberg, a large part of memories is hidden from the eyes of memory. Most of who we really are, or who we have been, is hidden and tightly guarded from being seen by others. Others cannot see into our memory, and we cannot see into it too, except for its tiny part.

The snow on the surface of a glacier is also not white; it is transparent and colorless. White is a perception of the light that is reflected from the snow – from the edges of the frozen water crystals. Under the influence of light, memories emerge from the subconscious or superconscious; they come into the consciousness of the present memory when the light of the Spirit shines on them.

The psyche of the soul is also like an iceberg

The iceberg is a metaphorical illustration of how most of the human psyche, our unconscious memories, our past thoughts, motives, and feelings, is hidden below the surface, just as most of an actual iceberg remains hidden below the surface of the water and beneath the snowy surface of the iceberg itself. These are all memories that are written somewhere, and none of them are erased. The visible part of the iceberg above the surface represents what we show publicly: our behavior, words, speeches, and deeds. These visible aspects are only a small part of what is actually happening inside the individual. This model helps us to realize that the real causes and motivations of human behavior are often deeply hidden and can only be accessed through a deeper psychological understanding. These events are hidden not only from the environment but also from the person himself, who is not aware of his own motivations and drives; and therefore, sometimes he has to think hard about why he actually said and did this or that, or what motives led him to make an important decision.

The wrongdoings that man has committed in the distant past are hidden in the subconscious; they are like ancient bacteria, jellyfish, octopuses, snails, or other sea creatures, frozen into the lower part of an iceberg. When the upper part melts under the influence of the sun, the nearest layer of the lower part of the iceberg will replace it. It will move up. Thus, what was hidden under the surface until then will begin to come to the surface. The monsters will thaw and come to life, the bacteria and viruses will become functional and will pose a danger of infection. This may affect the entire self of the living person.

Imagine that you have committed something very bad in this life. You probably remember it and maybe you are sorry for it. Maybe you have served your time for it within the framework of earthly law. Law and justice may not have much in common, because in prison the criminal may not be able to be corrected and after being released from prison, he is then prone to repeat the criminal act. This means that on the holistic level of the soul he has not reached a higher knowledge, that would ensure such an internal change, that would develop the “genetics” of the soul, so that it will not be repeated. Transformation of the genetics of the soul means that causal defects and connections to Entities are removed from the genetic code, which drive the opposing aspects of the ON in a person to an extreme. They contribute to the fact that a person succumbs to them, if he was not already “genetically” adapted to resist such urges through his knowledge and conscious experiences.

We do not remember what we have done in many past lives because when we move from one life to another, memory is erased. Reminders of unconscious memory come in the form of parables in dreams, and in the real life the urges come, urging a person to either repeat his karmic deeds or to take a closer look at the urges of his hidden unconscious memory, to let them become visible with the light of his Spirit.

The Spirit of the Higher Self will make available to the memory what it needs to know at that moment and not much of additional hints. However, a curious person searches and wants to know more; and here his inner intention comes into play, which is the decisive factor in the Spirit’s decision as to how much and what of the ancient records he will make available to the soul. The evil Spirit of Vanity also recalls us the past, but his reminiscences tend to be exaggerated, biased, manipulative, often concerning outright trivialities, or they are outright lies and purposeful fabrications. It is necessary not to let ourself be disturbed by our own mind, which will try to occupy us with something else, so that for God’s sake we do not realize that we are being manipulated by our own mind, namely the programs of the connected Entities of the Devil. We should not let yourself be disturbed by our surroundings either; sometimes it may be better to write down our questions and think about them later. When our Spirit notices that we are constantly engaged in something meaningful, it will notice and perhaps bring us a sense of awareness to our consciousness. It could be something like the AHA MOMENT, or a small surprise – enlightenment – in a positive or negative sense.

It happens that we can’t remember something, no matter how hard we try. We simply can’t get the information out of our memory. Then we accept this status and we let it go, and suddenly, after a relatively short time, the answer buzzes into our minds like a bumblebee hitting a window pane from outside. It happens without us thinking about it or otherwise dealing with it.

A useful tool is writing down our memories. As detailed as possible and not only factual information, but also related feelings, circumstances, and other perceptions. Writing down dreams is also an important tool. We probably forget dreams the easiest of all because they are usually elusive, and memories of dreams fade away like morning mist over an autumn meadow. Writing down supports thinking because it forces us to think carefully about what we want to write so that we can understand it later and, above all, so that we can recall the experience at that time in the most accurate form possible using text. An electronic form of storing memories is advantageous because if we accumulate a large number of them over time, we will be able to quickly search for the information by keywords.

The iceberg model is a metaphor that also shows that most of the information in a communication situation is not directly stated, but lies hidden beneath the surface, like an iceberg, of which only a small part is visible. Only the actual spoken words, gestures (body language), facial expressions, and tone of voice are visible. Hidden beneath the surface are subliminal messages, emotions, values, prejudices, beliefs, motivations, intentions, attitudes, needs, and other assumptions that are not expressed directly but can still have a strong influence on communication. Misunderstandings and conflicts often arise at the hidden level when we focus only on the visible level and do not take into account deeper meanings and emotional feelings. This suggests that effective communication consists not only of understanding obvious messages but also of recognizing and resolving hidden meanings. This applies not only to (external) communication with other people but also to (internal) communication with one’s own self.

Angel of Nostalgia

Memory chooses what memories it brings to our minds. Our own memories are often unreliable, and there is evidence for this – they appear also when we are firmly convinced of the truth of your memory, and then we receive tangible proof that we were wrong. When we want to remember something meaningful, we can flip through your notes. But now I do not mean photos from the old days “how good we were back then”. A photograph is a lie; it is a moment of memory frozen in time, truncated from the context of the event that was happening at that time. Most of the time, it was not as happy, beautiful, and perfect in reality as the Angel of Nostalgia tries to tell you when looking at an old photograph.

“Those deprived from the ON prophesy it. Nostalgia is a lie about something that was not.” — Metatron

The Angel of Nostalgia is a Light Angel who also prophesies his opinions through the Dark Angel; according to what a person has in their manifested and unmanifested Self, in their Shadow, hiding beneath the surface. If a person has a lot in their Shadow, then they also have a lot of the influences of the Dark Angel of Nostalgia at their “disposal”. Nostalgia manifests itself to them whether they want it or not; the Darkness deceives a person and covers their eyes with rose-colored glasses of the false nostalgia.

Nostalgia is the yearning longing of the human soul to return in thought, or in reality, to a previous period in one’s life, to one’s home, to one’s family and friends. It is a sentimental longing for the (supposed) happiness of a former place or time. The yearning nature of nostalgia can express a feeling of displacement and loss of something or someone that perhaps never existed; or did not exist in the form that the Dark Angel of Nostalgia tries to tell us. It tries to draw us into our Shadow and thus into repeating the scenario of its dark plot. When we remember well the intrusive nostalgic memories in many details, contexts, and emotional circumstances; and when we realize their true nature, the inaccurate memories fade and cease to have an impact on us.

Nostalgic longing can be in dreams about childhood or dreamed romantic love experiences. It can be connected to our intuition in the sense that we will project it into our future. Nostalgia can also be connected to our sadness. It is the heart that expresses the human soul’s desire for love. In reality, however, it is a desire for ON, because without the ON there is no true Love (Heavenly). A person who does not have (enough) of the ON in his Self, is not able to express true Love and cannot even accept it. He can only manifest some expressions of love, interspersed with expressions of unlove, springing from his Shadow, covering the bottom of the iceberg of his hidden Self. Such unlove has the ability to completely destroy a relationship.

Nostalgia in its truest form is more than intuition; it is a primal instinct of the the ON. The inner compass of the ON is momentarily recalibrated, and the soul seeks direction in life. Loss of love in any form can be an impulse to reorient, as free will determines destiny influenced by the (emotional) desire for love. It is easy to feel lost in a world full of evil and hatred. Nostalgia is the spiritual soul’s attempt to reorient itself to a world full of love. Daydreaming presents an opportunity to reach a level of knowledge through learning in the twilight of one’s shadow, which brings acceptance of the present, liberation from one’s shadow past, and a desire for a future fully connected to love. The experiences and knowledge we gain can become the basis for a better realization of this nostalgic offering; we light the way back home for our future selves with that Spirit.
